How to make diode as a heat detector!!

How we can Achieve it:

A normal PN junction diode has a two layers namely P-Layer and N-Layer through which they can conduct any electrons throughout the circuit. These PN junction layer has  a specific temperature they can operate. By increasing the temperature of diode we can make it as a head detector.

Two biased state:

              Forward Bias:
Where the  P layer  is connected to the positive terminal of the battery and N layer is connected to the negative terminal of the battery it is called forward bias state.

            Reverse Bias:
Where the  P layer  is connected to the negative terminal of the battery and N layer is connected to the positive terminal of the battery it is called reverse bias state.
Step 1:
First connect the circuit as shown below

Step 2:
Heat the diode gently at that time LED will glow slowly amount of heat applied to the diode is directly proportional to the brightness of the LED with help of this we can detect the temperature change near the diode.

we can also connect the diode to the arduino to detect the change in analog value with help of that we can manipulate any other activities related to heat change.

Connect the arduino as shown in the figure then connect the arduino to arduino IDE upload analog read example sketch then open serial monitor to see change in analog values.
